The Relaunch Edition: Author Terms

By purchasing the Relaunch Assessment and Plan, you agree to the following terms with Clara Rose & Company / RoseDale Publishing ("we," "us").

1. What's Included

Your purchase of the Relaunch Assessment and Plan includes a kickoff call with Clara Rose, a full read of your published book and its retail listing, a written assessment of what works and what needs to change, and a plan for a revised and expanded edition.

2. Your Book

You confirm that you are the author of the book and that the information you give us about it is accurate.
You'll provide a copy of your book and details of how and where it was published.
The assessment tells you whether we will offer to take on your book as a Relaunch Edition. Purchasing the assessment does not guarantee that offer.

3. Rights and Ownership

You keep all rights to your book.
Your assessment and plan are prepared for your own use.
If you move forward with a Relaunch Edition, each ISBN is registered to you and your book is published in your own accounts.

4. Credit Toward a Package

Your $597 is credited in full toward the Relaunch Edition ($6,997) or the Relaunch Edition Plus ($10,997) if we offer to take on your book and you choose to move forward within 90 days of receiving your assessment. After 90 days, the credit expires.

5. Moving Forward With a Relaunch Edition

With your assessment credited, the Relaunch Edition is $6,400 paid in full or 4 monthly payments of $1,697. The Relaunch Edition Plus is $10,400 paid in full or 4 monthly payments of $2,697.
Payment plans must be completed before your new edition goes live.
Your ISBNs are included. Any printed copies you order are purchased by you directly from the printer.
Before work begins, you'll provide written confirmation that you hold the right to republish your book and that any previous publisher will take its edition down, a list of your own contacts for the relaunch, and written agreement on the new content for the edition.
We have final say on whether an edition meets the standard to carry the RoseDale Publishing pressmark. We'll always work with you to keep your voice and message intact.

6. What We Promise

We promise the work described: a reviewed and improved edition, distribution setup so your book is available to order through bookstores and libraries, and a complete launch kit.
We do not promise a number of copies sold, a bestseller ranking, a number of reviews, or that your book will be stocked on bookstore shelves.
Reviews from your earlier edition may not carry over to a substantially changed edition.

7. Refunds

You may request a full refund of the Relaunch Assessment and Plan within 7 days of purchase, as long as your kickoff call hasn't taken place. After your kickoff call, the purchase is non-refundable, because time has been reserved to read and assess your book. Relaunch Edition package payments are non-refundable once work on your new edition has begun.

8. Magazine and Podcast

Relaunch Edition authors are featured on the cover of Influence MATTERS magazine in the first open edition published at least 30 days after their final files are approved and their feature materials are received, and record an episode of the Influence MATTERS podcast at a mutually convenient time. By participating, you agree that we may share your feature, episode, name, photo, bio, book cover, and book excerpts to promote you and your book.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
